Prior to this, as a Software Architect at Salesloft, Reid led the development of scalable, event-driven platforms and mentored teams transitioning to cutting-edge technologies like Elixir. Reid’s leadership was recognized with the Excellence in Technical Design Award for impactful contributions to Salesloft’s platform.
During an 11-year tenure at Experian’s Clarity Services, Reid played a pivotal role in architecting a high-performance, real-time credit bureau platform that underpinned Experian’s $100M acquisition of Clarity. Reid Morrison also spearheaded the creation of innovative solutions, including a “Buy Now, Pay Later” credit bureau, while leading large-scale migrations to cloud architectures.
Reid has had a profound impact on the open-source community, with his Ruby Gems achieving over 40 million downloads. This remarkable milestone underscores his commitment to advancing technology and providing innovative solutions that have become indispensable tools for developers worldwide.
Earlier roles at WellCare and Verizon highlighted Reid’s ability to drive operational efficiency, streamline systems, and mentor teams. Notably, Reid Morrison led WellCare’s transition to open-source technologies and developed solutions saving millions annually in compliance costs. As Director of Object Technology at CommerceQuest, Reid Morrison delivered eight major commercial software releases, generating tens of millions in revenue.
An entrepreneurial spirit, Reid Morrison co-founded Advanced Network Solutions, securing venture capital funding to develop a workflow platform that revolutionized B2B electronic commerce. This innovation led to a successful merger and positioned the company for significant growth.
